I read your article I run a carpet cleaning business my self over in Australia, Sydney we do steam cleaning and dry cleaning , but it's not the dry compound we use more solvent based. The results are good and customers seem to be satisfied, as to price increases.. if you are a customer looking for the service you should make sure that the price is fixed, if you shop cheap then, YOU WILL GET STUNG!! think about it ... how would a company or business survive by giving you a cheap prices over the phone... by charging you more when they get there! I say find some one you can trust will do the job right at a reasonable price.

It's also worth noting that the level of soiling to your carpet may affect the price you pay for a service. Making sure your carpet has been vacuumed before you get your carpet cleaning quote could save you some money.
